Brief survey for DNP student in our chapter!
Posted over 10 years ago by Julia Crowe
Dear Fellow Nurse Practitioners,
My name is Christine Robbins, and I am currently nearing the end of my DNP program at Georgia Southern University. As you may know, the DNP is a clinically focused degree, and therefore students must create a final project that is both scholarly and clinically focused.
For my project, I've created a survey in order to discover more about whether NPs working in primary care are screening their patients over the age of 65 for depression. If you work in primary care and see geriatric patients, please take a few minutes and complete the survey. It's completely anonymous and will help guide future nursing practice regarding this important topic. Thank you in advance for your help. I truly appreciate your time! Sincerely, Christine Robbins, FNP-C

I don't work specifically with geriatrics, but I do feel the subject of depression in geriatric patients (and depression in general) is extremely overlooked by our current healthcare "system".
This survey took only 5-10 minutes, I urge you to do take it as well and help a fellow NP!
Has anyone done this? I hope? :)
